Picture perfect scenery abound here and if weather is good you will be guaranteed brilliant photos. Full of old world charm and beauty, there is much peace and serenity here. Highly recommended place to visit if you are in Bosnia Herzegovina. Old Mostar town is really beautiful and the location is perfect. You do need to walk with great care as the raised cobble stone streets are very slippy and death traps in the rain. Even worse is the constant attention of pickpockets so you do Beautiful bridge.
Stunning view. Busy when the locals do a demonstration of jumping from it. Pleasant area to walk around. The bridge and the town of Mostar are well worth a visit. The bridge is architecturally amazing and views are lovely. The old town around the bridge with it's cobbled streets is beautiful, it has a real Ottoman feel to it. Lots of little shops This is the highlight of Mostar A bridge going to the old part of the town.
Lots of people going back and forth. Beautiful views up and down the river, this is a lovely place to walk. That being said the walking can be difficult Just went to Mostar on a day trip while we were staying in Croatia the journey was about five hours from Cavtat but well worth it so much history take one of the walking tours go over the bridge it is truly a spectacular place By the time we had walked from the hotel to this area it was packed with tourists, and at times difficult to walk at a decent pace while navigating around all the people.
The views of and from the bridge are lovely and there are The famous Stari Most literally Old Bridge also known as Mostar Bridge was built by the Ottomans in the 16th century and stood for years and was destroyed on November 9, during the Croat-Bosniak War.
The bridge was rebuilt as it originally was We stopped here to see the sites, stretch our legs, and have lunch. It was very crowded the end of September.
