Sep 1 at PM Please keep this posting anonymous. I am submitting a listing for "Paedea Plus" Unprofessional, cruel, and laughable is how I would describe this hakwon. The staff basically make you worry about: 1. Student numbers. If a student quits, it's your fault. It never has to do with the horrible curriculum, workbooks full of mistakes, or the staff at HQ that don't care about fixing any of these things.
Your bosses will yell at you about losing numbers, even if it was because a kid just couldn't come because of another event, scheduling conflict Additionally, training sessions are a joke because the people running the trainings don't even like kids and clearly don't care about the work they do.
If they say out of their own mouths that they think teaching is easy and are mean to kids because they don't like them, why should we go above and beyond to keep children happy and make them stay? It doesn't make sense, at all, and is sad.
Very high attrition rate. No one lasts more than a year here, and now I see why. They make you feel miserable with the workload and side eye glances everyone gives you. If you are Korean, then you aren't foreign enough.
If you are foreign born, than you aren't Korean enough. There will always be something that people make you feel uncomfortable about. They expect the impossible with 0 guidance and then blame you.
