After days of planning, hours of surveillance by undercover cops, then choreographing teamwork to pull it off without a hitch, the six-member Beersheba police squad led by Detective Marnina Sondack rushes into the illegal bingo parlor, badges held aloft, stunning patrons and operators alike.
Just two weeks after the illegal gambling parlor opened, Sondack, 39, and her Samag 5 Border Police squad shut it down. There were about 30 or 40 patrons in there, mostly women.
