We came by bicycle fram Tra Vinh, also in the Mekong Delta. When we had a few km left to the city after the big bridge I realized that one or two guys were following us on motorbikes. This happens almost every day because people are so curious about foreigners. But this felt different. We took a break to see what was going on. One of the guys left. The other didn't. We went a bit more and stoped again. So did he. We turn round. I looked at him for a long time, he was like 50 meter away. And after a while he went away.
He was talking in the mobil phone all the time. We decided to take another road in to the city. I did not see anyone following us anymore. But it was hundreds of motorbikes around and almost impossible to see. When my friend had a look at the first hotel and I waited outside with the bikes I find two new guys on one motorbike watching me. We decided to have a look at a few more hotels.
When I am waiting outside one of them one vietnam girl approach me and tell me that we are followed and whichever hotel we will choose we should be very careful. I ask her why they are following us but she says she don't now. Only seconds later I found the two guys again watching me from their motorbike. We started to cycle again and now its dark.
The guys keep on following us and we stop for a traffic-light. When the light turns green we stay and the guys also stay. A bit later they drive close my friend and tell her something like kss kss kss. After that I did not see them again. Later in the hotel room they have a big sign to not leave your valuables in the room. After 5 month in Vientam I haven't seen this sign before what I can remember. I wonder.
